So, you’ve read our post and decided to try the FODMAP elimination diet and realized that it’s tough to cook without onions and garlic, among many other things! Come on, I can’t be the only one that puts garlic in everything, right? Never fear! There are lots of FODMAP friendly products out there that will help you on this tricky, yet worthy endeavor. Check out our faves below.

My go to right now is this awesome book (click on the pic for more info):

It is part textbook, part cookbook and a whole lot of information to get you on the right track.

When you do start cooking there are a few prepared spice mixes etc to try also. We cook Mexican food regularly so I grabbed the Mexican seasoning to try, but there is also this brilliant set if you want to be really prepared (click on pic for details):


I also ordered this basic vegetable stock powder for adding flavor (without onions and garlic) to a heap of other recipes (click on pic for more details):
