Caramel Cranberry Bites Free Spirited Sisters

OK so this Caramel Cranberry Bites recipe isn’t a TRUE caramel but it sure tastes like one! It’s a perfect guilt-free treat when you get the hankering for a little morsel or two of the sweet stuff. Like our yummy Choccy Fix it has all natural ingredients and tastes amazing! It is so quick to whip up, the only thing is waiting long enough for it to set before devouring it!

 

Caramel Cranberry Bites

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup nut butter almond, peanut, cashew
  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 Tbsp rice malt syrup or pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup dessicated coconut
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Add nut butter, coconut oil and syrup to a microwave safe jug and microwave for 30 seconds.

  2. Stir to combine until it's a smooth liquid. Warm a little more if required.

  3. Add coconut and stir through.

  4. Take your ice tray and place 1-2 cranberries in the bottom of each hole.

  5. Pour the liquid mixture over the cranberries and fill until just below the top.

  6. Place in the freezer and allow to set. It should only take an hour tops.

  7. Pop the bites out and devour! Or store in a container in the fridge or freezer.
