Abs of steel challenge!

We have another challenge for you!!! This time we have 10 days to start a journey to abs of steel! Check out the challenge below and join us on Facebook and Instagram as we heat up your core and fire up those abs. Let’s do this!

Down dog core power flow

  1. Starting in down dog, breathe in and lift your right leg high into three-legged dog. Be sure to press back into your legs, bending the knees if necessary to keep the weight in the legs, not the shoulders. Focus on keeping the hips level;
  2. As you breathe out, take the raised leg under the body and touch the bent knee to the right elbow;
  3. Breathe in and return to three-legged dog;
  4. This time as you breathe out take the raised leg under the body and touch the bent knee to the nose;
  5. Breathe in and return to three-legged dog;
  6. Breathe out and take the raised leg under the body and touch the bent knee to the left elbow;
  7. Breathe in back to three-legged dog;
  8. Repeat with the left leg for the number of reps for the day of the challenge outlined below.

    Three legged dog. Taking down dog form lift one leg high making sure to keep the hips level.

Play ball

  1. Lay on your back holding a ball or block in both hands above your head;
  2. As you engage your core, bring your hands and ball to meet each other at your midline;
  3. Place the ball between your feet and lower arms and legs back to the ground;
  4. Bring the ball back to meet your hands at the midline;
  5. Place the ball back into the hands and lower arms and legs back to the ground;
  6. Repeat for that day’s number of reps.
  • Core workout

Soaring core

  1. Lay on your front on the floor with arms stretched behind you, palms up;
  2. Lift the hands, shoulders and tops of feet off the floor, and imagine you’re soaring through the sky!
  3. Hold and breathe smoothly for 30 seconds.
