Coffee body scrub

Natural beauty Free Spirited SistersCoffee, coffee, coffee

We definitely love our coffee around here! With its obvious benefit of brightening our mornings, it’s a daily friend and wonderful ritual. I love to practice mindful eating (or drinking) and savor those delicious sips. But there is more to coffee than just the morning cup. A coffee body scrub does amazing things for our bodies too! And it’s a great way to use up the grounds instead of throwing them away. I remember my dad putting them on his maidenhair fern growing up…but I don’t have one, so beauty products it is!

Benefits galore

Some of the benefits include:

Exfoliation – a good coffee body scrub (like the one in the recipe below!) will slough away dead skin cells, leaving the skin lovely and smooth and bright.

The caffeine causes increased blood flow and may reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Coffee can have an anti-inflammatory action on the skin.

Coffee is full of antioxidants which fight free radicals and can slow the aging process.

So with all those benefits, let’s get to the good stuff…the recipe.

It’s super simple and smells delicious!!!
