Holiday Makeup – get your fancy face on!

I am a true girly girl. I love getting dressed up, doing my hair and putting on makeup, especially fancy holiday makeup! Though 5-minute makeup is great for every day, I really do enjoy spending a bit of time getting a “going out” face on. I always start with a clean and well-hydrated face (I use Fig & Yarrow facial serum oil over my moisturizer to get a good glow) and my absolute fave looks are a smokey eye and nude lip, or a nicely defined cat eye with striking red lips. For this tutorial, I went for a strong, yet neutral brown smokey eye and a subtle nude lip with a little added shine. And, because my eyebrows are a victim of the 2000’s and are overplucked and sparse, there’s a quick explanation of how to fake full brows and an awesome natural product to get you there.

I am a total goober/dag and obviously a bit excited to try the new natural products, so just about everything I try out is “gorgeous”, lol. Bear with me as I navigate this new territory of posting videos online; it’s a bit outside my comfort zone! I just really want to share this stuff with you guys!

Almost all of the products are clean, natural makeup (see why this is important here), with just a few that aren’t. I’m on a mission to find good clean and natural products that perform and I’ll report back what I find. If you see a natural product you like from this video you can “shop the story” below.

Happy holidays!
